Chai Club and Sinai Reform Temple’s Supplies for Success Campaign.
Once again Sinai Reform temple supports the “Supplies for Success” program. This is our 9th Annual School Supply Drive Benefiting Disadvantaged Children Across Long Island. Last year almost 2,000 children benefited from this Island wide campaign. There is a bin in our Temple lobby for you to donate new school supplies.
If it is difficult for you to shop for the needed items please see me, Marian Kent, I shall be happy to purchase the much needed supplies in your honor. We start the campaign in May and end in August when our Temple youngsters sort and pack and get ready for delivery. This year I am proud to announce that our Bat Mitzvah student Irina Feig has decided to donate much needed supplies as part of her Mitzvah Project. Irina and her mom Sheryl have decided, in lieu of bema flowers, the bema will be graced with backpacks filled with items Irina has purchased.
