Shalom! As the new 2010-2012 Sisterhood President, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome and congratulate the new Sisterhood board and to thank them as well. The new Sisterhood board is as follows: Linda Lieberman – Vice President, Gina Rosenthal – Treasurer, Lee Isaacs – Corresponding Secretary, and the following Trustees: Marjorie Zuckerman, Ronnie Stoll, Sonia Margolis and Sharon Valles, our Immediate Past President. Special thanks to Sharon Valles and Gina Rosenthal for all their support. I would also like to thank our Past President Heidi Leibowitz for all her hard work, and for chairing our nominating committee.

Sisterhood and Temple are going through some difficult times. As one of arms of the Temple, we must adapt to new ideas and become one as a whole. We need to come up with inviting activities and fundraisers and we must think in the present because things and times have changed.

Sisterhood would love to have you join us on our quest for success. I ask you to be involved with Sisterhood, be part of your temple, be a part of Sisterhood and get involved. Bring your ideas for meetings, speakers and events. Help me help US and make this a memorable year.

I would like to also take this opportunity to congratulate all those parents who have children graduating this month and wish them well in their endeavors. May you all have a safe and fun summer.
