Chocolate Fun

On Thursday April 14, our youth group met with students of the B'nai Israel Reform Temple and the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center for fun, friends, and most importantly: chocolate. The eighteen kids in attendance got to mingle with the friends they made at the last event while enjoying a chocolate Seder.

We had everything from chocolate milk to chocolate matzoh. We even had a chocolate themed Passover story about Cowses' adventures in Soygpt. All of the kids seemed to find this "utterly" hilarious (pun intended and used quite often throughout the night.) We started the event

with a get to know you game and ended by talking and getting to know each other even better.

Our next event will be a trip to the city on Sunday May 1st to go to the Jewish Heritage Museum and Planet Hollywood. For more information, keep checking in on the Sinai Reform Temple Youth Group Facebook page.

Youth Group Trip to NYC

On Sunday May 1st the Youth Group took a trip to New York City. We had lunch at Planet Hollywood and then took the subway to Museum Row and visited The Jewish Museum.

Kelsie Greene, Amanda Ziegler, Cameron O'Brien and Sophia Interlicchio attended. A replica of George Segal's famous Holocaust Memorial that stands in San Francisco appears in the museum. The students enjoyed this moving exhibit on Yom Ha'Shoah There were centuries old menorahs,

megillahs, torahs, and other Judaica for the students to look at. There was a special exhibit showing ketubahs through the years. Overall, everyone had a fantastic day!!!
